I create mosaics by utilizing pieces of broken dishware, ceramic and porcelain tile, glass and found objects like vintage buttons, stones and old coins. 'Mixing' a color palette from non-traditional materials and working with a wide range of patterns and texture is similar to creating a painting. I place glass, tile and stones together like brush strokes, adding another dimension of depth and reflection to the artwork surface.
